introduction

Marloo Media Pty Ltd is a publishing venture focused on the needs of Australian classroom teachers and their students, in providing specific educational resource support across a variety of key learning areas.

Teachers’ Toolkit: The Magazine + Website for Australian Teachers is the flagship publication of Marloo Media. This fully sponsored print and online magazine, which is produced and supplied free to all primary school teachers four times a year, is regularly supported with additional online resource updates. Click on the Teachers’ Toolkit section of the Marloo Media website to take a closer look at the many features of this print and online resource for Australian teachers.

Marloo Media was created in 2005 by Stephen Wilson, when he decided to use his publishing, business and educational skills to branch out into some new and creative publishing enterprises. Stephen has been a primary school teacher and has worked in the educational publishing industry for over twenty-five years.

Marloo Media understands educational publishing and the resource needs of primary schools. It can advise and consult with schools, publishing companies and educationally associated organisations, taking onboard project management and packaging of clearly defined educational projects. Marloo Media has access to an array of authors, writers, teachers, editors, designers and production people for producing the best possible educational resources for Australian and overseas markets.

Where did Marloo come from? Marloo is a common name for a particular species of kangaroo. A member of the Red Kangaroo (Macropus rufus) group is sometimes referred to as, the Marloo, Blue Flyer and Plains Kangaroo.
