What is the TEACHERS’ TOOLKIT
magazine?
Teachers’ Toolkit is a full-colour
magazine published four-times per year and distributed
free to over 80 000 primary classroom teachers throughout
Australia. Each edition arrives in schools in the
first month of each school term.
Teachers’ Toolkit integrates learning
in the classroom with resources beyond the classroom
and provides:
- practical, classroom-friendly ready-to-use teaching
plans, ideas and activities across all key learning
areas that are easy to implement into everyday programs,
while meeting the demands of various educational
curricula
- clear links between classroom needs, education
beyond the classroom and curricula documents. Important
topics, special periods and days, and interesting
units are highlighted throughout the year where teachers
are looking for additional support, e.g. National
Bike Safety Week, World Environment Day, dental care,
sport and nutrition, renewable energy, etc.
- information on the latest resources for schools
- destinations to visit for learning outside the
classroom experiences
- web-based research projects for students
- great educational websites for teachers and students
to visit
- opportunities for teachers to submit and share
their own teaching units with other teachers
Teachers’ Toolkit is mostly targeted
at teachers of students aged 5-13 years of age although
easily adapted to higher and lower levels.
Created and written by classroom teachers and education-linked
companies and organisations in conjunction with a highly

as part of your relationship with schools
Background
- Teachers’ Toolkit magazine assists
busy teachers who are constantly looking for additional
and immediate support for their classroom programs.
- The teaching units and articles in this magazine
provides teachers with many ways to tackle often under-resourced,
though educationally important topics and subjects
in a manner that is both creative and exciting for
themselves and their students.
- For those companies and organisations
who have school education as part of their Vision
and Mission Statements, the value of using the magazine’s excellent teaching
resources linked with a variety of ‘outside the
classroom assistance’, to enable teachers to
make best use of the many resources that might not
be otherwise known or familiar to them.
- While helping to get the message
across in a comfortable and non-threatening manner,
the sponsor’s support
for the magazine will result in a greater awareness
and understanding of the educational value of their
resources, products and services, resulting in a positive
gain for all parties, including that of primary school
students.
- Much promotional and educational
literature that arrives in schools doesn’t
always get to the classroom teacher and might only
find its way to the staffroom table or get archived
in school libraries. Teachers’ Toolkit goes
to every teacher.
- In the 2006 editions, there will be an insert section
for specific resources for teachers in each state in
addition to the teaching units and resources that have
a national focus.
- No other educational teacher magazine provides the
practical classroom support as offered in TEACHERS’ TOOLKIT. THE
Magazine for Australian Classroom Teachers.

- The company or organisation creates its own article
(adhering to the magazines specifications) and submit
the full text with artwork as it is to appear in the
sponsored article. Dimensions, word count., technical

- Advertise. Choose from a half-page or full-page advertisement
or an advertorial promoting some aspect of your business
(products and/or services) appropriate for schools
to incorporate, access or be aware for their teaching
programs. While it is preferred that the company or
organisation creates the advertisements, Marloo Media
can offer the service to create the piece based on
